Snow Day...........
There is a big Nor'easter storm, travelling up the North East of the US, and headed for our Maritime provinces...
It was not expected to make an appearance here in Southern Ontario...
But...guess what?
She did...and not a lot...but enough to make a wreck out of the morning commute...
We were lucky enough to have Miss V visiting...
And she wanted to get out there with her shovel...
Papa was only too happy to accommodate...♥️
Me...on the other hand...decided to hide behind the lens...and take pics from the warmth inside!!
I think she had a pretty good time...
And I had fun with Pic Monkey again...
Did you get any snow???
Hope you all had a great weekend...
Enjoy the rest of your day...
Had delicious Summer Pasta and crusty bread for dinner...
Love that meal....
Enjoy the rest of your day...
Cheers! :o)

Brrrrrrr!! She looks so cold. And so adorable!!! Love that hat you made her!!!! Stay in and stay warm. We got rain. So nice!!!
ReplyDeletexo Kris
I would rather have rain Kris....and warm temps!
DeleteShe is adorable...and so much fun!
Very smart. Behind the camera.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Nice and warm inside.....running from window to window!
DeleteI enjoyed it from the inside warmth, too! haha.
ReplyDeleteGood call.....
DeleteWhat stunning pictures of little Miss V all wrapped up . . . . . don't blame you staying indoors in the warmth.
ReplyDeleteWe are forecast to have snow and blizzards later in the week, although I fancy that it will be much further north and in Scotland. Somehow I don't fancy building a snowman . . . . . brrr . . . . . lol
Good luck with the snow coming your way . . . . :)
Hi Eddie.....
DeleteIt was a fun day....she was a perfect angel...
Not expecting anymore snow here.....even this was a surprise!
How are you doing?
Doing ok thanks . . .
DeletePleased this snow has not arrived ~ in fact it is quite warm at the moment. Maybe the forecasters have got it wrong . . .
Not long for you to wait for Florida now . . . :)
Getting a few flurries here....don't think the storm was as severe as expected....
DeleteYup.....leaving in 10 days!
Apparently the temps are due to plummet tomorrow ~ I think I shall switch my alarm off and hibernate . . . . . lol
DeleteYes, I expect you are getting excited about Florida. Do I remember correctly that you will treat us to some lovely scenery while you are there. I expect you will miss Miss V a lot . . . . :)
What a great idea Eddie!
DeleteYes...will be posting from there...I do believe you joined my blog way after Florida last year...
Oh yes...A LOT....but we will do facetime with her...and the rest of my kids♥️
So I'm gone for just a few decades and now Eddie has all the great ideas...
DeleteGreat.
Hey Blue...
DeleteYou snooze...
You lose...
I am sure you have great ideas...try me!
We got a dusting this afternoon and a cold easterly wind, but that's it so far.
ReplyDeleteI like taking pictures from inside when the wind is whipping.
:0)
Yes, I agree.....
DeleteActually....most of my photos are taken from inside!
Oh....except for the ones from the beach deck at the cottage....**sigh**
This is me staying in the house just loving Miss V "playing" outside looking adorable and playing with her shovel. Why? Warmth AND 5 more inches of snow, listening to my neighbor plowing my driveways AGAIN! It's so much nicer seeing it all through your eyes and Miss. V's smile:)
ReplyDeleteWe're not even getting the blizzard!!! Stay warm, LInda...It is, as everyone has been repeating all day, after all, January:) Won't be long now...
Hi ~~Louise~~...
DeleteStorm not coming here....worried about our Maritimes....
Enjoy your week..
Love that close up of Vivian. She's so adorable! The snow won't be starting until near dawn tomorrow here. Gonna be a doozy!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is a cute face....eh Pam?
DeleteKids and snow just go together. Those are really sweet photos of Miss V. I guess we are lucky this time as we aren't expecting much in snow for the next few days. Just a little in the forecast. Need the woolies, though as it's darn cold.
ReplyDeleteYes.....cold here too....another cold weather alert issued...
DeleteEnjoy your day!
Oh, goodness. The second to the last of pictures of Miss V should be framed!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a map in my head of Canada...I had not a clue where you were. Now I know you are on the east coast.
Jane x
Every pic of her is frameworthy♥️ Hahaha! Biased nana here!
DeleteI sent you a map of southern Ontario to show you where I live!
Not really on the a East coast, but....you will see!
That first picture looks like a giant snow cone. Just add some strawberry syrup. Does Miss V have any idea how truly cute she is?? You dinners always sound good. I did tilapia and veggies, onions and bell peppers in the oven. It was good and crunchy. I like texture.
ReplyDeleteHi Wanda....
DeleteShe is the cutest to me....always♥️ And so good natured!
My fav fish now is Cod......love it!
Little red nose and cheeks - but they never want to come inside.
ReplyDeleteYou got that right! Dixie!
DeleteShe got a bit wet, so that enticed her in!
Should have put her snow pants on! Bad Nana!
hope the snowstorms will pass you by, dear!
ReplyDeleteHi Dez....
DeleteIt did! Thanks.....
How are you?
That is the cutest little mouse shovel-er I've ever seen. ;) Evan just told me that the storm wasn't as bad as they had predicted last night... I am hopeful it will continue to be less severe than they thought. We are expecting sunshine and temps to 70F today... and I love it! Could be 20 next week, but for today I will bask in the warmth! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteThanks Tanna.....
DeleteHow lucky....20 degrees....heaven!
For once, I can say NO SNOW!!
ReplyDeleteDo you know how happy that makes me?!
Jane x
Hi Jane.....
DeleteNice to see you back....hope all went well....my condolences...
Love that big bucket o' snow shot!
ReplyDeleteYou mean the bird feeder?
DeleteSnow? This is not what I expect from you Linda! Sunshine all the way! Great shots. xx
ReplyDeleteHahaha!
DeleteSoon Em...soon!
Gosh, I have fallen behind on your fun blogs. Love the green shovel in contrast to the pinkish colours of Miss V.'s jacket. Last night I Face timed with my little 5 year old grand daughter in NY. She very obligingly walked over to the window to show me that the snow wasn't as bad as predicted. Although her school was cancelled today. Having baked eggplant with salmon fillets tonight. Take care, LSK. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Hester....
DeleteI heard it wasn't so bad....but apparently not over yet!
Your dinner sounds delish....as always!
Hope to see you soon.....
COOL!
ReplyDeleteno pun intended.
always love pictures of that little snow bunny.
Me too♥️
DeleteSweet pics of Miss V - that bright green shovel is so cheery. Tum not co-operating for a few days so tea and toast tonight. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteOh Sizanne.....sorry you're not feeling well.....get better!
DeleteNo snow here and I thank WhoeverProvidesSnow for that. Rain though. Always rain.
ReplyDeleteVivian is getting so big! Still a baby though. They grow way too fast. (Said every mother since Eve.)
She is getting big!
DeleteBut...so sweet!
Brrrrrrr!!! That looks so cold, but Miss V doesn't seem to mind at all does she! So cute in her hat that Grandma made her! xx
ReplyDeleteI have a closet full of hats!
DeleteOne for every conceivable occasion!
Too bad about more snow but at least Miss Vi had a ball! She sure is cute! Love her crocheted hat!
ReplyDeleteYup...no problem getting her to wear the hats!
DeleteSo snow does come down in buckets.... yes? Miss V is so sweet. I don't think I was ever that sweet.
ReplyDeleteNo Blue...
DeleteRain comes down in buckets! hahaha!
I am sure as a Baby Blue, you too were sweet!
