I finally found a white Kalanchoe plant at SuperStore today. It is a larger one like yours and loaded with buds so I'm excited to watch it grow. It was so full of water though so I won't be watering it for about a week! I also bought a bouquet of tulips to enjoy. :) I was scrolling and enjoying your photos when I saw the cheeky Red eating something then the next picture was of the cutest little sweet cheeks! I'm sure she does tire you out but was a cute little dolly she is! Have a nice cozy evening. xx Pam
ReplyDeleteOh Pam....YAHOO! You will certainly enjoy that!
DeleteI was thinking of getting some tulips tomorrow....need a centrepiece for dinner!
He was munching on peanut butter crusts from Miss V's lunch!
She thought it was hilarious!
That little gnome looks thrilled beyond belief that the sun is out. And so he should.
ReplyDeleteShhhhhhh....he is a Fisherman.....I won't tell him you thought he was a Gnome....
DeleteThe sun is fantastic on the squirrels tail. It wasn't so sunny here, kind of on the dull side, so guess you got my does of sunshine our your way. Enjoy dinner out, we are heading out for breakfast in the morning.
ReplyDeleteSeems we always have different weather....must be the Lake....
DeleteEnjoy your breakfast!
Great sun here too, but we get a lot of sun on this side, most all winter.
ReplyDeleteLove it.
Im happy for you ! Ilove sunshine in winter!
ReplyDeleteAll look beautiful especially miss V♡♥♡
and the squirrel:))
Yes...she is a dolly! Getting so big!
DeleteSunshine is especially welcome this time of year. If we can't have warm days, we can at least have sunny ones. And it's fabulous that the days are getting longer! I was actually thinking about you this morning. I wanted to leave you a comment and ask if you're heading south for a vacation soon? Around your birthday? Isn't it funny how we think about our bloggy pals even off the blogging world? And kind of nice.
ReplyDeleteAwwww Martha......you remembered! We share a birthday! Except, I am twice as old as you! Hahaha!
DeleteWe leave in 3 weeks....can't wait!
Yes....I think of bloggy pals too....very nice indeed!
We will meet up in blog land on the 11th!
A little sun makes all the difference . . . . let there be more of it soon and I am longing for those lighter evenings. . .
ReplyDeleteThat photo of little Miss V is superb . . . . :)
Took a few of Peter today standing supporting himself and almost ready for his maiden voyage . . . . . . "One small step for mankind, one giant leap for Peter", to misquote a well known phrase . . . . . lol
Enjoy your evening . . . . . bet you miss her already . . . . :)
Hi Eddie.....yes.....still light at 9 pm..... Almost unbelievable ,eh?
DeleteGonna post pics of Peter?
And....yes....absolutely missed her as I waved goodbye!
Her Mom called....said Miss V said she wanted to go back to Nanas and have cake for dinner!
How sweet is that?
It is so much better with sunshine ! Lovely photos . Good to hear Miss V's mum is feeling better and that you have had fun with that sweet little girl ! Oh I cant wait till spring yes the sun is setting later each day WOOHOO !!! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteSPRING.....March 21.......right around the corner!
DeleteAh, Red looks to be enjoying a special treat! I have to admit, he is really cute.
ReplyDeletePeanut butter sandwich!
DeleteHe has been seen at Martha's!
Cheeky devil!
Guess what? Where I am there are NO squirrels! Isn't that weird? Not a one! Lots of quail, pheasant, hawks and magpies but no squirrels. Lovely sunny photos!
ReplyDeleteReally? Wonder why.....
DeleteI think you should move back here.....you shouldn't have to put up with that!
Get packing.....right now......geesh!
Can I live with you?
DeleteAbsolutely positively......Mark too!
DeleteOh...I am so excited!
When will you be here?
Bring the cats!♥️
Do you think your place is big enough for the four of us? Remember, we have two cats!
DeleteI said......BRING THE CATS!
DeleteLoved your photos, especially the fisherman, red squirrel and cutie cheeks. Had a nice lunch out with this boyfriend, hope you enjoyed your dinner out. Have a fun evening with your company tomorrow, I'm making the long trek to my daughter's with lots of food. Take care...
ReplyDeleteHi Hester.....
DeleteWill do....love entertaining.....
Drive carefully.....what did you make this time?
Thanks about the drive, I'm used to it, I guess. Sweet and sour meatballs, banana muffins. What's on for your guests?
DeleteTender Spare Ribs...Onion Soup Roast Potatoes...Asparagus...Greek Salad...fruit salad...
DeleteEnjoy your visit!
Hi Linda. We're having one of those bitter cold Januaries. On the daily walk I look like a bag lady - all bundled up. But I enjoy taking it down the road, watching creatures. No sunshine since last Sunday - thank you for sharing some sunny spots. The little hippo is cute.
ReplyDeleteDid you Greek? One word - Baklava!
Two words.....lamb shank.....
DeleteOh, that Miss V just makes me smile. And of course, makes me want to see that sweet baby girl of mine. I know I'm going to eat her up. To think it's been 23 years since I held my last little baby. Time flies.
ReplyDeletePretty flowers, I don't recognize any of them...I would love some flowering houseplants.
Enjoy your Greek dinner and company tomorrow. Florida is on the horizon!!! :)
Jane x
You will be in heaven, Jane!
DeleteHave you bought her any clothes yet?
Those flowers are called Kalanchoe...a succulent...last and flower 4 EVER!
3 weeks and counting!
ReplyDeleteYAYYY for you cc girl.

all adorable!
xo
He is a Fisherman Tammy! And as old as the hills!
DeleteThe countdown has begun!
Just love the sun behind Red's tail - and love him, too! He is too darn cute and he's certainly enjoying Miss V's leftovers, isn't he? Speaking of cute. That child has THE most amazing eyes. And you capture them so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteWhy thanks Suzanne...she is our dolly!
DeleteLovely to see your little Kalanchoe friends enjoying the sun! Miss V looks very mysterious!! xx
ReplyDeleteShe is eating Tammy...she takes that very seriously!
DeleteYES, beautiful sunshine... but, all the shots pale next to Miss V. I had to chuckle about dinner out... and Nana being pooped. LOL! I know that business well. ;) Enjoy your day, Linda. I know your dinner will be wonderful! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteYes...they do tire you out...eh Tanna?
DeleteBut soooo worth it!
My Kalanchoe is in bloom too. So pretty! What a darling photo of Miss V. You can really see her two different colored eyes!!! She is such a beauty! I am hearing lots of talk of Spring on the blogs I read. I am thinking NO...NO...NO!!! I want winter. More winter. But then again, I don't live in the snow!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun dinner party tonight. Hubby is sick here. Hope I don't get it!!!!
Count down is on......only a couple more weeks.
xo Kris
Hey...don't be NOT wishing for Spring Kris! No...you DON"T live in the snow! hahaha!
DeleteAren't you anxious to get back to growing your veggies???
Oh....I hope you don't get it either...it is horrible!
Enjoy your weekend.....
Lucky you! Love that squirrel shot. Have a great weekend. x
ReplyDeleteI noticed that about 5 p.m. also when I was on my way home from work today. Yay! Can't wait for spring. In the meantime I will revel in your lovely flower pictures. Great one of Miss V also!
