Crochet Completed....

Some of you may remember..."The Worlds Largest Afghan"...that I started LAST year in Florida...

It just got away from me...

My son spied it up in my office...

He liked the colours...

You can see in yesterdays post, that he has done his Living Room in Green...

SO...

With his birthday being tomorrow...

I thought...

This would be a good time for me to finish up this WIP as Amy likes to call it...

And give it to him for his birthday...

But...I also owed his cat...Buddy... a cat bed...so...

Why not make a matching cat bed?

Everything came out nice and chunky...

Will be nice and warm for next Winter...

My son sent me these 2 photos last night...

Buddy has given the cat bed his "seal of approval"...

How cute is that???

Isn't he a handsome guy!

Buddy is a Tuxedo cat...and he wears it with pride!!

Sweet dreams Buddy!!

Hope you are all having a great day...

Nicer weather today...but still that breeze...but sunny!!  YAY!!

Omelettes are on the menu tonight...easy for the cook ♥️

Enjoy the rest of your day...

                           Cheers!   :o)

  4. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing these photos.

Warmed up today, after Lady Sunshine kicked Old Man Winter in the nards.
Now it's bright, sunny and my clothes hanging outside, are nearly done.

Wishing you the best night ahead with a great big side of boogie boogie.

We had babysat him a few times....when my son worked on a movie in Montreal for 3 months....
But....a couple of years ago, Buddy became a diabetic....and I am not a needle person.....AT ALL!
      So.....no more babysitting....:o/

  13. Such a talented lady! The photo of Buddy made me think of my daughter's two cats. When I visit, they always spend a few minutes checking me out. Finally lovely weather, yay! My BF made salmon and grilled veggies on the BBQ, very yummy. Take care...

  14. Hi Hester!
I ran into Nadia with her sweet Mom, up at the mall today...she said she has not been to fitness, as she has been sick.
I was sporting my new glasses that I picked up today!
I want your BF to make me dinner!

  15. I've caught up on your posts-Yay! What a great party for your son and daughter. The food looks outstanding. I can't help but notice that Miss V is growing taller and taller. The last pic of her and her huge beautiful eyes is beautiful!

What a great crocheter you are. I love these colors and I think it was so clever to make a little cat bed as well. I love tuxedo kitties. Some have said my little pup Layla looks like a tuxedo dog! lol! Good for you in getting back to your project in time for your guy's birthday! :)

The lakehouse is moving very slowly. Waiting for an engineer to inspect that the the place is stable before work can begin. Grrrr...I have settled finally on the fact that there will be no summer there whatsoever. Thanks for asking, dear.

  19. I love it!
I do wish my hands would cooperate more willingly whenever I take out some yarn and a hook.
I have a new granddaughter coming at the end of summer and all I have on hand is a blue afghan.
Maybe on those "recovery from working twelve hour days" days, I should sit and crochet.
