Easter Bunny 2015...

Well...

Here she is...in all her glory!

You have been very patient in waiting to see her...

I appreciate your patience...

She was a lot of work...a few stitches and methods I had never done before...

Like the heels...guess I could make socks now!! hahaha!

The pattern was very hard to follow...one tiny picture of the finished project...

All of the limbs came out a wee bit different...my fault...one foot is bigger!!

The instructions for assembly were very vague...

And there were no dimensions for finished sizes of limbs etc...

Ok ok...enough b****ing from me...

She is completed... and ready to play with...

I added the sweater...the pattern had her naked!!

Now...if I could just get a pic with Miss V...

That may not happen for a while...I think the Bunny was perhaps..shall I say...

Too large???  Scary???  Or just a lot of commotion all at once...

Anyway...Bunny is here...waiting for her first hug from Miss V...♥️

 The pieces were worked separately...

Stuffed...and sewn together...

Hope you are all having a great day...

And that your Easter weekend was perfect...

We had snow overnite Saturday, and on and off all day yesterday!!

No sleepover at the cottage...took a spin out on Saturday...still too much snow...

Hopeful that the temps this week will take care of all of that!!!

I am enjoying this delicious juicy pear, and a cup of soothing apple cinnamon tea, while I write this post...

I have Turkey soup bubbling away on the stove...

Turkey salad all made for tomorrows dinner...

Cajun Catfish, Wild Rice, Baby Bok Choy, and Brussells for dinner tonight...

I am crocheting a cat bed for my son's cat Buddy...

No more Bunnies for a while...hahaha!!

Call the midwife was another excellent episode...

Enjoy your evening...

                    Cheers!   :o)

  3. Congrats on a finely crafted bunny or is it a hare? It has long ears and can run faster,

Holding up well at this end and moved onto the vascular ward eventually. Was allowed to walk with a nurse to visit my brother in law . . . and she collected me and brought me back . . .:)

  6. Bunny is adorable and Miss V will love him soon. Kids are the same, gave Mr R a mosaic sticker book for Easter and he didn't seem interested at all yesterday, then popped by this morning to drop of something we forgot to take yesterday and there he was at the table all engrossed in the sticker book and couldn't wait to show me what he was doing.

    2. I came home tired, went out to see my brother (thankfully, my sister was driving), and when I returned home I pulled my achy feet up onto the couch and went to sleep looking at the computer screen. I was awakened when the screen turned from black to bright when Oreo took a walk across my keyboard. It must have been Monday or something.

  11. Hi Linda. It's been one of those days! Typing everything backwards (elims).(smile).
I do love that bunny. I made the cloth ones, but I had a pattern. There'a no way I could fiddle with knitting needles and end up with a rabbit! I had no idea a little ball of gray would become so lovely. The sweater and ribbons make me ooh and aww. When I first clicked onto your site, that lovely bunny made me smile, and the photos got better as I scrolled down the page!! You amaze me. (So did that pear.)

      Oh yes....the pear was divine!

  13. She is delightful! Can't even imagine the work that must have gone into her. I am sure Miss V will love Miss B and they will be fast friends very soon. How sweet to have the little sweater, too. I want to cuddle her!
Visited a friend on Saturday, had a quiet Sunday, and today was a bit of running around with another PR interview and them I treated myself to a lovely brunch at the Beer Hall. I had a Tuna Poke, which was Ahi tuna in a sesame soy marinade with avocado, mango and corn
tortillas with fresh lime and cilantro. And then I had Cold Smoked Salmon Benny – two free-run poached eggs with dill, Hollandaise sauce, potato rosti and a lovely mixed garden salad with fruit. So tasty.

What a sweet bunny, with a lovely friendly smiling face. I'm sure Miss V will come to love her very much. Perhaps Easter was a bit overwhelming for V this year. Hope you had a lovely Easter weekend. xx

  18. I love the bunny! She is adorable and her sweater is so pretty too. I'm sure Vivian will love her soon and treasure her for a long time. I remember my late aunt knitted some animals for our daughter when she was just a toddler and I wish I'd kept them. :( I'm so sentimental but we had just too many toys to keep them all.

  19. I just want to squeeze that adorable bunny! And I just noticed that you've changed your signature on your lovely photos, now, how will I call you "LSK?" Also enjoyed CTM, then Mr. Selfridge right after. Picking up the new car tomorrow, probably can't visit with D's family in Collingwood, as freezing rain is expected! Have a nice rest of the week, "LiNdA."
