Cottage Sunset On My Miscanthus Grasses....

Friday at the cottage, was...to say the least...interesting weather-wise..

Upon arrival...bright sunshine...

Decided to get the grass cut, and I set about stacking some logs for a fire...

After about an hour...

The clouds rolled in, and we had a downpour...

I have pictures of that to share later...

Around 6pm, the sky suddenly started to take on this beautiful glow...

I took all of these photos from inside the cottage, where I was snug and toasty!!

Hope you all had a great weekend...

Ours was pretty nipply...and windy...at least today the sun was out...but the winds persist!!

Supposed to get some overnite rain...

I made a big pot of skinny beef and barley soup today...

We voted...wonder how that will turn out, as I am sure most of Canada will be watching The Blue Jays play tonight...they are down by 2 games...but...never say die!!  GO JAYS GO!!!

Tonights dinner will be buttermilk soaked, panko crusted oven baked Haddock...

Bok Choy for the boyfriend and Brussel Sprouts for moi!!

Either Ceasar Salad or Greek Salad...have not decided yet!

Have a great evening...watch the game!!

See you all tomorrow!!

                         Cheers!  :o)

  11. Beautiful skies with the grasses . . .
WIND seems to be "happening" every where . . .
And not just a breeze but gusty, roaring wind.
The acorns are flying around here along with pine needles, leaves and pine cones . . .
    With frosty mornings too . . .
    Happy Autumn Days . . .
