On this dark and stormy day...
I am tucked inside...
Warm and cozy...
Miss V napping...
Coffee cake on the counter, fresh from the oven...{which Miss v helped me make ♥️}...
Enjoying a few of my friends that I asked to join me inside for the Winter...
Portulaca blooming...
Geraniums blossoming...
Orange Kalanchoe still shining for Halloween...
Tiny white pumpkins enjoying their time in the living room...
Scary scarecrow...with his new hat...relaxing in the foyer...
And the big full Moon a few nights ago...shining his face off!!
What are you up to on this blustery wet dark day??
Hope you are all having a great day...
Tucked inside...safe from the wind and rain...
Enjoy the rest of your day...
Cheers! :o)

ReplyDeleteNoah insisted I make the muffins..Boys..are not girls, and he wants to be the chef....

How cool that Noah wants to bake?
DeleteV and I did really well...not messy or bossy! Followed my instructions!
And....she had a piece when she woke up! Gave her mom a big piece to take home!
Aren't the blooms lovely?
What a NASTY day it is here, too. I enjoyed looking at your flowers, though. Stay dry and enjoy the coffee cake. I'm getting out the pumpkin bread and some tea. :)
ReplyDeleteYummy Deb! You and your pumpkin! Hahaha!
DeleteYou seem very cosy indoors with the cold wet day shut outside.
ReplyDeleteLove your wintering friends . . . and that little guy with the pointed hat who likes pumpkins . . . . :)
We had lovely weather until this evening so this morning I did some outdoor work at the garden I told you about called The Rectory then this afternoon I went to my daughter's to see her and baby Rosa who was in a very happy mood, gurgling and laughing.
Then I fixed some new skirting boards . . . until it was dark.
I see you have a full moon too!
What a coincidence . . . . rofl
Have a very pleasant evening . . . :)
Hi Eddie!
DeleteLucky you got to work in the garden!
Love having my garden friends indoors...
I'll bet Rosa is getting big!
How is Master Peter?
Hi Linda . . . :)
DeleteRosa is much bigger but beautiful. She is now almost 12lbs and gained 4.5lbs and much happier and very alert and laughs a lot.
It is half term for Lisa so Peter is with her this week so I am having a well deserved rest. . . :)
Hi Eddie...
DeleteI'll bet she is beautiful....
Enjoy your vacation! Hahaha!
Oh that does look miserable outside your windows Linda. It's nice that you have colourful plants blooming inside to brighten the day and a coffee cake waiting to be devoured. I love your scarecrow with his tie. Well, tomorrow we will have that lovely weather to deal with and I 'have' to go to town for an appointment! Wouldn't you know?! Have a cozy evening.
ReplyDeleteNow the fog has rolled in!
DeleteScarecrow is cute, eh?
I love when you find something unique....and enjoy it year after year....
Good luck tomorrow!
We're having the same weather here....windy and rain! Lovely day for an auction, eh? lol.....
ReplyDeleteOh...I'll bet you got lots of neat stuff!
DeleteWonderful photos , So you did get out that evening and get photos of the moon cool ! My geraniums are done blooming for now but they will bloom again soon I hope . Love Mr scarecrow . It has been very gloomy day out there but we are cozy inside puttering around . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteYes...I did!! It was clear as a bell!!
DeleteA full moon right before Halloween -- the werewolves will like that!
ReplyDeleteHA!
Deleteperhaps it will be visible on Halloween night! Cool!
Stormy here too but I gotta say, I love down pours of rain this time of year. Spooky and fun.
ReplyDeleteyes....and good for the trees and plants!!
DeleteStormy here too...ruining all my tacky spider web decorations!
ReplyDeleteyes...that would be a problem...for sure!
DeleteWhat fun, you are all set up for Halloween. Love your witch, and the white pumpkins look really nice too. My, it does look wet though!
ReplyDeleteWe got a LOT of rain, Patricia...thanks! hahaha!
DeleteRainy, windy, dark and dreary here too!
ReplyDeleteYour colorful plants and flowers brought inside for the winter brought me some cheer . . .
That is what I like about bringing them inside...pretty colours!!
DeleteSounds as though it was a wonderful tucked up indoors kind of day!! xx
ReplyDeleteI did!
DeleteFunny how we are having identical weather so many miles apart! Very blustery and in the mid 40's. Ugh. Em and I went to Target and a few other errands I should have dressed warmer but I think the fresh cold air helps clear out the lungs. I feel so much better. More energy, just a bit of a headache and full sinuses. Livable.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had Elsie more...MC is very close with her mom and sisters and she seems more comfortable being there and having them watch Elsie. I'm not totally okay with that but I don't want to make waves. I'm certain this will not be the situation once Emily and Abby have babies. I've watched Elsie twice, at their house as it's more 'convenient'. Never here ever. I may be saying too much. It is what it is. I don't think Kevin is too cool with it but he doesn't make a fuss either. Still...she's 8 months old...had her to myself twice???? Sheesh.
Enjoy the weekend...I hope the weather gets better for both of us!!

I understand your frustration....
DeleteThings will improve!
Hi Linda. Been here tonight reading your blog posts from past couple months. Loved them all. I knew you would be excited about your Blue Jays! AND our Dodgers too! Darn.
ReplyDeleteMiss V is as precious as ever. Miss you.
Kris
Hi Kris!
DeleteWe will chat soon!
I didn't go out either yesterday, although I opened our lobby door to get some fresh air for a few minutes. So windy today!
ReplyDeleteLove your scarecrow and his Boo tie - such fun!
Cool eh?
