To drink in the beauty of the Tulips... |
To almost hear the Miscanthus growing... |
To enjoy even more and bigger Ferns... |
To watch the wildlife enjoying the very old birdbath... |
To remember the sweet Forget-Me-Nots.... |
To admire the Lily-of-the-Valley along with my old Gnome... |
And of course...
Sit back...in the late day sun...and just...
Soak in the view...
I can hear the waves...and the Gulls...and the Cardinals...
Heaven.......
*********
Cannot wait much longer...
The rain is steady...and the chill is still in the air...
Not much energy today...feelin' kinda punky...
BUT....
Gazing out at the Lake...
And being one with Nature....
Will certainly cure all that ails 'ya!
***********
Hope you all had a great day....
I have been bummy...trying to get going....must get going...
Probably make some Pizza for dinner...
Picked up a flat bread yesterday...
Thank Goodness I went out yeaterday...
Don't think I could have made it today....
Cheers! :o)

I hope that it comes soon because I really want to see more beautiful pictures like these!! Hope that the pizza is good! xx
ReplyDeleteIt is coming...just taking its own sweet time!
DeleteOh the Pizza will be good....'cause I'm making it ! Hahaha!
The Lily of the Valley is a favorite for me. The little Forget-me-nots are so cute but I wouldn't have known what they were. Oh, that cottage of yours is a dream. Lots of people say they wouldn't want a cottage because it's like looking after two houses but I say "pffffft...to that". Hope you are out there soon. Dinner sounds good. We are having samosas and a vegetable rice dish tonight. No meat for the retired-guy. I keep reminding him he won't die. ha! Hope you are feeling back to yourself by now. Hugs
ReplyDeleteWell...it is like looking after 2 houses!
DeleteBut...at home here, we have no grass, as I have made all perennial gardens...
The backyard is pool, deck and perennials...
Pretty turnkey here....WAY more work at the cottage...BUT WE LOVE IT!
Lots to do....see....and enjoy!
No meat here either...unless you count smoked salmon on the boyfriends side!
Enjoy your evening....and weekend Deb....
sounds heavenly, hope you fell well tomorrow,
ReplyDeleteI mean FEEL well , not fell!!! lol, oh my gosh,,,,
ReplyDeleteThat's ok Laurie♥️
DeleteI knew what you meant....and.....thanks!
Take it easy and get well soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessica!
DeleteOh, so lovely dreaming of the gardens at the cottage, and at home for me.
ReplyDeleteFeeling punky is not good ... hope you perk up and get back to your cheery self.
Pouring of rain here, all sorts of puddles forming on the ground and the sump pump is running non stop!
Feeling better already.....thanks Linda♥️
DeleteWe have puddles too.....high winds again at the cottage...
Yup dreaming of gardens full of pretties ! The rain is so much better then snow though even though the damp makes me ache badly ! Lovely photos . Yup puddles and mucky yard here to Miggs gets sopping wet and muddy ever time she goes out to do her business , lots of old towels and wash basin being used on her in this weather lol A good day to snuggle down with a good book or movies and cups of tea . Thanks for sharing . Have a good weekend !
ReplyDeleteThat is precisely why I do not have a dog!
DeleteI know that you and Miggs are a team♥️
Oh I just love your photos today. To capture your fuzzy friend getting a drink, and then that black bird taking a bath in front of all of us...Oh dear!!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are lovey too.
I need to get out in the sun...I was looking at my legs and talk about WHITE...Lordy, they need some serious tan.....Your tan legs inspire me.
Thanks Wanda...that is a Robin in the birdbath!
DeleteGet some tanning cream....moisturizers and tans.....at the same time!
I came back for a closer look, and sure enough I could see a tiny corner of a red breast...my bad.
DeleteDon't worry about it...
DeleteDo you get my comments by email?
Cold and rainy here too, but I did notice my daffodils are making their appearance.
ReplyDeleteTulips can't be far behind.
:0)
Yup....a few poking thru here at home as well....won't be long now!
DeleteRain here, too! And WIND! It's howling. Just the sound is making me feel cold!
ReplyDeleteWe are calm now...rain has stopped.....but still chilly!
DeleteThe new green of Spring is the most beautiful shade of green!
ReplyDeleteHey Debra.....long time no see! Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right....Spring green is THE best!
I woke up this morning thinking it was Saturday...BUMMER!
ReplyDeletePizza for us too tonight!
Jane x
You would have missed Friday night! BUMMER for sure !
DeleteSeems to me life's been pretty good in your neck of the woods, Linda. I love ferns, nature in general and of course a bit of basking in the sun, taking in the sounds of the waves. Of course I'm jealous. But in a good way.
ReplyDeleteThat's ok Blue.....jealous can be good!
ReplyDeleteI know how fortunate we are to have this awesome place to go to !
But I don't want to turn green at my scene if you know what I mean. I'm happy for you. Enjoy!
DeleteI know what you mean....
DeleteYou are just really keen....
So much colour! I love it. The robin splashing is sweet. Soon, my friend. Soon. :)
ReplyDeleteYes....the color is what we need...instead of white!
