Cottage Dreamin'.....On Such A Rainy Day

To drink in the beauty of the Tulips...
To almost hear the Miscanthus growing...
To enjoy even more and bigger Ferns...
To watch the wildlife enjoying the very old birdbath...
To remember the sweet Forget-Me-Nots....
To admire the Lily-of-the-Valley along with my old Gnome...

                          And of course...

Sit back...in the late day sun...and just...

                  Soak in the view...

I can hear the waves...and the Gulls...and the Cardinals...

                                          Heaven.......

                                           *********

                 Cannot wait much longer...

The rain is steady...and the chill is still in the air...

Not much energy today...feelin' kinda punky...

                                    BUT....

                 Gazing out at the Lake...

                  And being one with Nature....

Will certainly cure all that ails 'ya!

                                             ***********

Hope you all had a great day....

I have been bummy...trying to get going....must get going...

Probably make some Pizza for dinner...

Picked up a flat bread yesterday...

Thank Goodness I went out yeaterday...

Don't think I could have made it today....

                            Cheers!  :o)

  2. The Lily of the Valley is a favorite for me. The little Forget-me-nots are so cute but I wouldn't have known what they were. Oh, that cottage of yours is a dream. Lots of people say they wouldn't want a cottage because it's like looking after two houses but I say "pffffft...to that". Hope you are out there soon. Dinner sounds good. We are having samosas and a vegetable rice dish tonight. No meat for the retired-guy. I keep reminding him he won't die. ha! Hope you are feeling back to yourself by now. Hugs

But...at home here, we have no grass, as I have made all perennial gardens...
The backyard is pool, deck and perennials...
Pretty turnkey here....WAY more work at the cottage...BUT WE LOVE IT!
      Lots to do....see....and enjoy!
No meat here either...unless you count smoked salmon on the boyfriends side!
      Enjoy your evening....and weekend Deb....

  14. Seems to me life's been pretty good in your neck of the woods, Linda. I love ferns, nature in general and of course a bit of basking in the sun, taking in the sounds of the waves. Of course I'm jealous. But in a good way.
