Bits & Bobs From The Beach....

 Hopefully back to some regular posts...

The birthdays have tuckered me out!

Thanks for all your lovely wishes for my kids...

I really appreciate all your comments...

And they do too!♥️

One more dinner this evening...

With Ryan, Erika and Miss V...

Lissa and Jeff are away at a Spa!!

And we can put the celebrations to rest...

At least for a month!

The beach pictures were taken last Thursday at the cottage...

These last few are evidence of the very heavy raking that was done...

All of the miscanthus have been cut down...

3 tiered rock garden all clear of leaves...

All beds have had their first rake...then...we ran out of steam...

Decided to plop into our chairs...enjoy the late day sun...and the birds...

Not sure if we will get out there this week...:o(

Tons of rain...and very high winds...gusting to 60 kms...

NOT fun at the lake....BELIEVE me!!!

IF we do get out there...I am hoping to see some blooms!

Lots of Daffodils,Scillia,Tulips,Hyacinth discovered...

Under the heavy layer of leaves...

                                        ~~~~~~~~~~~
Thought I would get this post in early today...
Lots to do...house to clean...dinner to prepare...groceries to buy...
Perhaps a short visit to the greenhouse!
Hope you all have a great day...
Not raining right now...but the promise of more later...
Gonna jump in the shower...
And get out there...before it starts again!
                                         ~~~~~~~~~~~~

On the menu tonight...a real crowd pleaser!

           Summer fresh pasta...meatless...for all the veg-heads...(stole this from Deb!)
                   Tomatoes,avacado,goats cheese,black olives,fresh basil

                        Cheers!  :o)

  1. Dinner sounds yummy!! Looks as though you have done loads at the cottage and so great to see all that snow and ice gone now. You have a massive pile of leaves there by the looks of things. Hope that you have a nice dinner and a relax! xx

    1. That is just one trip to the beach bonfire!
      We find it easier to rake them onto a tarp, and then drag them down to the beach..
      The wheelbarrow only holds a small amount...
      I intend to enjoy my dinner!

    Lovely to see the growth at the cottage, I'm sure you will notice a lot more if you get back there this week.

  3. Gorgeous (!) photos today. It's overcast and threatening rain here today, too. And has been a pretty ugly week so far. Well, it's only Wednesday, right? Your dinner sounds terrific. We're going meatless tonight too.

  6. It's looking quite springy there at the cottage Linda. It's sunny here today but will be short lived. So tired of rain and cold and wind but it's coming back tomorrow. I always enjoy seeing what you find on the beach. Hugs. Pam
