Healthy...Heavenly...Hydrangea Hues ♥️

      I don't know a living soul...

      Who doesn't LOVE The Hydrangea...

      I picked this potted one up, about 2 weeks ago...

      It came with 3 large BLUE blooms...

      And one tiny still GREEN bloom...

      It depends on the time of day that I take a picture...

      And it can be either BLUE...or MAUVE ♥️

      The smaller GREEN bloom, now has a tinge of BLUE at the ends...

           I am loving the CREAMY centres....♥️

      Hoping this will last long enough to plant at the cottage...

      One of my resolutions was...PLANT MORE HYDRANGEAS...

      And...
          I intend...
              To do...
                  Just that....♥️

                                                   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
           Hope you are all having a great day...
           Sun shining....still chilly...East wind...
             I need to get my flowers on the table...
               And into my front door pot...
                    Going out for dinner...as I will be BUSY COOKING tomorrow!!
              Enjoy the rest of your day...
                   Cheers!  :o)
  1. Good morning Linda...you are right...how could anyone NOT loved hydrangeas. They have been my favorite for years. Your close ups of them give me goose bumps...love the color. Our youngest daughter's wedding bouquet was one huge single blue hydrangea. Have a great day...getting ready for your family... Sending hugs and smiles...
  2. *This post is Rated 18 due to hydrangea porn content*.
    I LOVE THEM!!! I want lots and lots but we have to wait until the builders are finished late summer,otherwise they will get tromped on,and then there would be builders' bodies hanging from trees...not a good look.
  5. The hydrangeas are gorgeous plants and I want some in my garden too ... have never had them. Do you have luck planting the store bought ones outside? I'm doing some cooking tomorrow too. Wishing you a happy weekend with your family, just in case I don't make it back in the next couple of days. And hopefully you get some time at the cottage too.
  8. Love hydrangeas! . . . . beautiful photos!
    We have a large pink varierty in our front garden - your's is more advanced than mine which is just beginning to bud.
    Did you know that iron filings an turn a pink geranium plant into one bearing blue flowers. One year I put a lot of iron filings on one side of the bush and half of it was blue and the other pink.
  15. I have a green thumb. Some have said I could plant a broomstick and make it grow. But I cannot, for the life of me, grow a hydrangea. And I love them!
