A Girl & Her Red Squirrel.....

When we had Miss V for a few days...

After Christmas...

When her Mom was sick...

She and our Red...

Became...

Great friends!

Her first morning....she felt...that...

Her "firemans" hat was appropriate breakfast attire...

After breakfast....

It was time for a little "cupboard" time....

She was still a wee bit "under the weather"...

But...she was a trooper!

For 2 days....she patiently waited for Red....he would come and go so quickly...then finally...

Their eyes met....they stared at each other for a long time....

Miss V was very excited!!

 So....

She celebrated with a bit of Ice Cream Sandwich....her very favorite treat!

Hope you all had a great day!

Still cold here....and dull...no sunshine...

My boyfriend and I are off to Toronto to a Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game....

We will take the GO train...and have dinner before the game....

Can't remember the last time I was in Toronto....

Should be an exciting evening....

Enjoy the rest of your evening....

                                              Cheers!  :o)

  3. I love the photo of her and the squirrel looking at each other. Such innocence. Have fun in Toronto. I lived there for four years 1976-1980 and loved it. I have a best friend there so I take the train up to see her a couple of times a year. There is always lots to do in TO. Hugs, Deb

  4. Hope that you have fun in Toronto! Now, you know, you really cannot keep Miss V in a cupboard - someone will notice!! What do you get up to at breakfast in your house that needs a firemans helmet by the way??????

Can you do me (another) favour? Can you tell me if this comment says that I am a no reply blogger or can you reply to the comment by e-mail.

    Thank you dear one. xx

  6. What cute little friends. Our little red has been at the back of the garden but hasn't come close enough for a photo that is worth posting.
Let's hope the Leafs put on a good show for you tonight.
