Yesterday At The Cottage......Looks Like Spring!

Yesterday was such a beautiful, warm, sunny day, that we decided to take a nice drive to the Lake.
We stopped for a Chinese lunch, and then headed to The Sally and Port Thrift, to see what treasures were waiting for us♥️. We managed to purchase a few nice things.....will share those soon.
First off....we noticed how much less snow there was , down that way....The Niagara Area.....
And, as you will see in the photos....there is green grass showing....and even a few perennials busting thru! My Hollyhocks are looking lovely and fleshy.....that is a good thing! Inside, it was 40*f, as opposed to last week, when it was 20*f inside....quite a change in temp! The mountainous ice waves were definitely smaller.....but the Lake is still frozen. We did see a few open patches along the drive,  and they were full of Canada Geese!
Posting from the IPad again....so my text needs to go in first....
Sooooo..enjoy the pics....they won't be centered....but....I will get better....
You can see the Moon in the third photo!
Inside .....all is lovely....and our bed is waiting for us!

Hope you are all having a great day....
Sun is shining....a few snowflakes.....looks like we are headed back to the deep freeze next week.....

                           Cheers!    :o)

It is better now on the new laptop than earlier on, not looking forward to posting pictures though, not sure how easy that is going to be. Not complaining, just stressed. I am grateful that I could go and get a new computer. We will get there in the end hey Linda!! xx

  2. Wow it sure does look good at the cottage ... so much green showing through. Even the sun was co-operating. Sure wish we had a glimpse of some of that here.
A snowy morning, the sun broke out for a few minutes, now cloudy and bits of snow falling again. More of the same tomorrow.
Got room in your suitcase for me?

  5. It does look like spring there! The photos of the sun in that brilliant blue sky are gorgeous. The cottage looks so cozy with the sun streaming in. Glad you had a cozy night there. I'm not looking forward to the deep freeze again but maybe it means the sun will shine. Getting really tired of foggy dull days!
