Modelling A New Accessory.......

Well....

Here we are on Saturday....

Snowed and blowed all night...

Lots of drifting going on....

Miss V slept like a dream...

We got up at 8am....pretty decent!

But....

The day before....

We had some fun...

Modelling a few new accessories...

To go with her Leopard coat....a Christmas gift from me and my boyfriend!

I think the brown cowl...

And the brown earwarmer...with the orange flower..

Look awesome....Now....If I can just get her to try them on...

We headed for my bathroom...

She loves to sit on the counter...

Admiring herself in the big mirror!

I also have a magnifying mirror...

Which we both look into and make silly faces!

I think this ensemble suits her sweet face to a T!

She liked it at first....

She also applied my blush brush to her cheeks!

But....

Very shortly afterwards...

Her attention turned to other things!

Geesh......I like that on her  ♥️♥️♥️

Getting blurry now...

Love the side view!

Kris...over at "Simplify" in my sidebar, makes beautiful earwarmers....and sells them!
Perhaps you should take a look!!
I stole her idea...but it was ok with her♥️

No pattern...

Just inside my head...

But...I do think...

It came out...

Pretty...

Darn...

Cute.....{but....not nearly as cute as the model}

Ok...she is getting fed up...

Off comes the cowl....

And the earwarmer....

Now...the staticy hair!!!!!!

Awwwwww....Miss V....

You do make your old Granny laugh!!!

And smile....

And giggle....

And dream........

Hope you are all having a great Saturday....

Lots of snow falling....blustery winds.....making the snow into drifts....

My windows are covered in snow on the outside....

Must take a few pictures of that....hopefully the last for a while  :o)

Going to friends for dinner this evening....so...no KP for me! YAY!

Enjoy the rest of your day.....

                                  Cheers!  :o)

  1. Awww. that is a really sweet jacket, and the cowl and headband are adorable on Miss V. You are so smart to make that up out of your head. It's been trying to snow here off and on all day. An Alberta clipper is to come through but it's taking it's time. At least it's a bit warmer out (-4). Have a great day!

  4. Oh so fun and delightful and the static hair...adorable. Yes, the brown and orange are a perfect match. It makes me long to see our little Tristan. He's 7 months now, and I've only got to see and be with him twice. When he was born, and when he was 5 months. Our daughter, Jill, and SIL live in Oregon, and it seems so far away from So. CA. We will be making a trip in Spring, and then they will be coming down for one of our granddaughters wedding in June. Our grandkids range from 7 mo. to 28 years..with to little great grandsons 6 and 7. But what a blessing on blessing. Sorry to ramble..but when grandkids are mentioned... well you know!

  6. Miss V looked really cute in the headband and cowl. How quickly they flit from one thing to another.
It is a nasty day here ... police advising to stay off the roads ... road closures ... snow ... blowing snow ... huge drifts ... white out conditions ... all sorts of cancellations ... perfect day to stay inside. I've been cleaning and knitting and reading and drinking tea :)

  7. She looks adorable. I think those are her colours. You seem to be able to whip up cute things in no time. I'm just going along right now knitting a blanket for my 3year old grand-daughter's doll bed I gave her at Christmas. All wood and painted white. Too cute. Enjoy that dinner out with friends. There's nothing better. Pizza night here. Hugs, Deb

  13. the two of you . . .
    little fashion plates . . .
i thought ... no first ... what a TOTALLY WEIRD expression! fashion plate? where the heck did that come from? plate? maybe plates that they used in photography? not plates you eat from? weird i tell you.
ok. back to my first thought.
well. now it's rather anticlimactic . . . but my first thought was PARIS!
these two adorable creatures should be walking down a boulevard in paris ... playing in a bois ... or however they spell park. sitting at a little sidewalk café . . . being admired by all the chic parisiennes.
oh la la! nana and the most beautiful baby in the world! xoxo
