Trip To The Arctic....or....I mean...The Cottage!

 WOW!!!!

What a trip this was!!!

Altho...

There was way less snow than here at home...

But....

Boy oh Boy...

The ice mountains were..

AWESOME!!!

From the top...

Where I was standing...

Down to the frozen lake...

Had to be at least 15 feet...

We have never seen it that high before....

The waves and the wind must have been incredible....

Would have been unbelievable to be there for that!

But...

Scary too!♥

Hope you all had a great day....

We had a lovely lunch....and some thrift shopping!

Also took 4 bags to donate....always makes us feel better when we do that♥

We could see the moon on our drive home....at 3pm!!

This was the actual colour of the sky...

HONEST!!

Enjoy the rest of your evening...

                                        Cheers!   :o)

  2. I love the lake shore in the winter. Constantly changing and always beautiful even in the throes of winter.
Lake Ontario doesn't freeze quite like Lake Erie does, but I still find it amazing.
I suppose and insulated cottage with a roaring fire, plenty of hot drinks, and blankets piled high might be an interesting bucket-list kind of experience.

  3. It looks amazingly beautiful there on the lake with all the ice on it. It looks like the waves just froze in place. Can you walk on them? I love the photo of the shell with a bit of snow in it. Stunning!
