  4. Thanks for stopping by tonight Linda. I love those wellies. You will wonder how you lived without them after a short time, no doubt. Your kids are good to their mom, just like mine. I was pretty spoiled, too. I collect white china and my oldest always buys me a few pieces. My son and wife gave me beautiful bird feeders and planters (how I want Spring *sigh*) and my youngest daughter added to my pandora bracelet with pretty charms, a gorgeous white shabby frame and a gift certificate to our favorite pub. The retired guy got me Downton Abby (3 seasons) and some pretty dishes. No complaints here. Love the guest book. I'm sure you will find that a treasure to have. I have a favor to ask Linda. I see you know a lot about plants and flowers and I wondered if you could do a post on the care of African Violets. I have some that were my moms and struggle to keep them nice. Thanks, Deb

We are getting so many now...kids, grandkids, great grandkids, we chose to draw names for the adults this year. I got lovely "kitchen" stuff from my DIL who drew my name. 7. I love your new Wellies and the fur stole for your wine bottle. And nice iPad and cover too! I hope you make out ok blogging on your iPad. I hear it's a bit tricky so start practicing before you go away. I should figure out how to use the one we have so I don't have to take my laptop on our vacation. It would be so much lighter to carry!! ;) My favourite gift was my new DLSR from my hubby of course. One more thing to lug on the plane! LOL Great post Linda.

  12. Hi Linda - me again. I did go back and check out some of your violet posts. Very helpful. I now know that mine are not getting enough sun. I just need to find out one thing...Do you water them from the top or the bottom? I remember my mom watering them from the bottom because she never wanted to get the leaves wet. Is there something to that? Thanks again Linda.
