A Girl...Autumn Leaves...A Broom...FUN!!!

Last week...

When Miss V visited...

After calling her Auntie Lissa..."HI Lissa...is Lola there?"

After doing her Bubble Guppies puzzle...

We went outside...to ride her bike...and play in the leaves...

We had a ball....right Miss V????

Hope you are all having a great day...

                    I was busy busy busy...

Finally renewed my passport...gawd...what an ordeal!!

Picked up a few things at Walmart...

Headed home ahead of the rain...geesh...will it ever stop???

                               Busy in the kitchen...

Made a Blueberry Buttermilk Breakfast Cake...

                                        YUMMY!

And an encore Apple Pie Bread...the other one was simply scrumptious!

Made a HUGE mess in the kitchen...got it all cleaned up...

                    Just in time...

                       To make another mess...

And make some meatloaf for dinner...

Do any of you grate carrot into your meatloaf???

I do...it adds a lot of extra moisture and texture...fabulous!!

                    SO...tonight is the aforementioned Meatloaf...

Roasted Root Veggies...and the boyfriends favorite...Bok Choy!

Been doing some crocheting in the evenings...

How do you pass the time...and...what's cookin' in your kitchen tonight?

Enjoy the rest of your day...

                       Cheers!   :o)

  5. What a cutie with the leaves, love how the head band has slipped down to her eyes. I put grated carrots in a few things ... including meatloaf and chili. Such a wet and miserable afternoon, even had to put the light on to do some knitting. The curtains and blinds are all shut now so we can't see what is going on. Time to curl up by the fire with some tea and watch Coronation Street.

  12. Fun in the leaves - we used to love jumping in huge piles when we were kids. Then we'd have a big bonfire... which, sadly, you're not allowed to do any more. Miss V looks so cosy. I always laugh when I see her name because people always called me "The Divine Miss V!" Not sure what's for dinner... I am thinking soup or maybe some mini-spanakopitas. Or both!
