A Girl...Autumn Leaves...A Broom...FUN!!!
Last week...
When Miss V visited...
After calling her Auntie Lissa..."HI Lissa...is Lola there?"
After doing her Bubble Guppies puzzle...
We went outside...to ride her bike...and play in the leaves...
We had a ball....right Miss V????
Hope you are all having a great day...
I was busy busy busy...
Finally renewed my passport...gawd...what an ordeal!!
Picked up a few things at Walmart...
Headed home ahead of the rain...geesh...will it ever stop???
Busy in the kitchen...
Made a Blueberry Buttermilk Breakfast Cake...
YUMMY!
And an encore Apple Pie Bread...the other one was simply scrumptious!
Made a HUGE mess in the kitchen...got it all cleaned up...
Just in time...
To make another mess...
And make some meatloaf for dinner...
Do any of you grate carrot into your meatloaf???
I do...it adds a lot of extra moisture and texture...fabulous!!
SO...tonight is the aforementioned Meatloaf...
Roasted Root Veggies...and the boyfriends favorite...Bok Choy!
Been doing some crocheting in the evenings...
How do you pass the time...and...what's cookin' in your kitchen tonight?
Enjoy the rest of your day...
Cheers! :o)

Dessert one bite brownies homemade. Maybe some frozen yogurt.... Having grands for dinner. Ones vegan the other is gluetin free . Always a challenge on what to make.
ReplyDeleteHI linda...I know exactly what you mean! It is very difficult cooking for all the different kids...
DeleteThank goodness we are such versatile cooks,eh?
Your dinner sounds delish!

DeleteShe has a good time everywhere!
She will be here tomorrow...I am sure we will need a bike ride♥️
What a cutie with the leaves, love how the head band has slipped down to her eyes. I put grated carrots in a few things ... including meatloaf and chili. Such a wet and miserable afternoon, even had to put the light on to do some knitting. The curtains and blinds are all shut now so we can't see what is going on. Time to curl up by the fire with some tea and watch Coronation Street.
ReplyDeleteOur rain started later this afternoon...enough already!
DeleteThank goodness it was nice Sunday and yesterday...got some great garden pics on Sunday!
Enjoy Corrie!
Such fun playing in the leaves. Miss V has some very cute violet fashion action going on there :)
ReplyDeleteYes, thumbs up for carrot in meatloaf!
HA! I made her the headband,,,which kept slipping down...and I got the mittens at a craft place..handmade!!
DeleteYes...the carrot gives a nice texture and much added flavor!
When did Miss V get so big? She just gets cuter all the time!
ReplyDeleteI have never put carrot in my meatloaf, but I'm going to have to try it.
Hi Kathy...
DeleteGrowing like a weed...and smart as a whip!
Grated carrot...secret ingredient!

Still have a pie to make...perhaps Thursday...having Miss V tomorrow!
Hope the sun shines, so we can be outside...she loves it out there!
Enjoy the rest of your evening...
The weather was gorgeous today, wasn't it? (Well, I hope it was there too.)
ReplyDeleteThe ladybugs were having their picnic!
How fun!!!
:0)
Nope...started out sunny....but cloudy by 9am :o(
DeleteRaining hard and really blustery now...
There were oodles of picnicking Lady Bugs at the cottage...
I do believe they like it at the beach!
I'm hoping tomorrow is nice. Deb and I have planned an escape.
DeleteMe too! Miss V is coming!
DeleteEscaping fro where to where?
From home to I know not where.

Awesome!
DeleteCan I come?
I've not tasted meatloaf yet. Though when I do make it, I'll remember the carrots. That sounds good as does alllll your foods.
ReplyDeleteMade mini apple pie today.
Really? A great chef like you? Do remember shredded carrot....
DeleteLove apple pie♥️
New hat Ivy? Hohoho!
I am still new to eating and cooking meats. Was a veghead most my life.
DeleteTim got me a new peeler and then this other peeler shredder thingy. So neat.
I love meatloaf...I'll try the carrot next time! yum!
ReplyDeleteFun in the leaves - we used to love jumping in huge piles when we were kids. Then we'd have a big bonfire... which, sadly, you're not allowed to do any more. Miss V looks so cosy. I always laugh when I see her name because people always called me "The Divine Miss V!" Not sure what's for dinner... I am thinking soup or maybe some mini-spanakopitas. Or both!
ReplyDeleteWe get to burn them at the cottage....love the smell!
DeleteBecause you are an awesome singer!
Grrrrrrrrrr - bloody word verification. Had to try six times.
ReplyDeleteReally?
DeleteI wonder why it is so difficult....sorry...:o(
Miss V couldn't be any cuter. She is so styling...just like grandma.
ReplyDeleteYou are a sweetheart Wanda.....thanks!
DeleteOh, Miss. V. is really looking so grown up. Raking the leaves is a great way to "earn her keep" as I used to say to my kids.
ReplyDeleteGood one Barbara!
DeleteI am going to start using that one!
Wonderful photos ! She is such a cutie pie ! I have never put grated carrot in my meat loaf sounds good ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteThanks Elaine!
DeleteYou will like the grated carrot....try it!

ReplyDeleteHi Dezzy!
DeleteYes they do...but waaay cuter♥️
Like the shoes??? You have great sparkly taste!!
Didn't Miss V have fun in the leaves?! Remember playing in leaves when you were a kid? Sooo much fun! You and she have great shoe taste - you always have great ballet slippers and her 'kicks' are so cute! Wish I could come over and have some cake and tea!
ReplyDeleteSure do...and I remember playing in the leaves with my kids!!
DeleteAwww...you are gonna make me cry D!
LOVE to have you for cake and tea...when is the next flight from BC??
What sweet and fun times with Miss V. xx
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Pam....cherishing every moment♥️
DeleteWay too much fun!!! My hubby will be disappointed though, he thinks that he is the only person to use a snow shovel to move piles of leaves! Turns out your boyfriend does too! Perhaps we won't tell them.... xx
ReplyDeleteHahaha!
DeleteIt will be our little secret Amy!
