Last week with Miss V....
We tried playing with some blocks...
This is actually a puzzle...made out of blocks...
Actually 6 puzzles...
My kids had one of these...and they loved it!
She is still a wee bit too young for the puzzle part...
But she certainly enjoyed stacking the blocks up as high as she could!
Look at that face!
Love it♥️
I even got one of my thrifty sweaters on her...she looks great in pink....
YAY for Miss V!!!
Built the highest tower!
***********
Hope you are all having a great weekend...
And to the Americans...an extra long weekend...full of Turkey! hahaha!
And pies I think too...........♥️
The weather has been the big nothing...
No sun...nothing...today is a wee bit warmer...around 13*c...rain coming...
Hope my son gets here and gets my lights up...
Before it starts raining...
My boyfriend and I got them all sorted in the garage...
A pile for the trash...and a few new boxes as well...
Ever wonder what happens to the lights from year to year??
They were working last Christmas...now they are not....it is a mystery to me...
My son works wonders with all the extension cords...
Hides them all...fabulous attention to detail!
I have fresh vegetarian spaghetti sauce on the stove...
And I baked an Apple pie yesterday...he LOVES Apple pie!
I have a big round crusty bread...
And Ceasar salad fixins' in the fridge...
Not sure if Miss V will be out...perhaps...always happy to see her♥️
Enjoy your Sunday...
Cheers! :o)

Oh my how fast she is growing and changing . Wonderful photos ! Oh YUMMY I love spaghetti and Cesar salad apple pie sounds good to ! Papa just finished fishing out all the Christmas lights for the out side and fixing up the lighted rain deer from the loft of his work shop and checking them all I think he will put them up in a day or two . Today would be a good day to put the lights up as it is soo mild and hasn't rained here as of yet , Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteI know! Becoming a little girl....my lights look awesome!
DeleteSuch cuteness... reminds me of the blocks that I had as a kid, I loved blocks and animal toys best... never played with guns or soldiers or such things
ReplyDeleteHi Dez....
DeleteWe never let our son play with guns....wouldn't let him watch The A Team! Too violent!
He loved his Lego!
All the ingredients to make for a wonderful holiday time..... kids, lights, cooking, and apple pie! Love the pictures, and I hope we see the "lights" once they are decorated and in place. I've yet to start on mine here.
ReplyDeleteHi Don.....everyone her except my older daughter and SIL....
DeleteHad a great meal....sang Christmas songs with Miss V!
Lights look awesome....a few finishing touches for me to handle....
Enjoy your evening!

ReplyDeleteLOVE that tiny pink sweater. all those buys were great. it looks brand new.
got my tree up ... and some decor ... debating whether to put little lights on the wren house balcony.
in the 70's here and to drop to 23 tonight. the animals have no idea whether to shed or put on a coat!
XOXO♥
DeleteYes Tammy....her "cheese" face! Hahaha!
Yes....lights on the wren house balcony...perfect!
Oh dear....quite a drop in temps!
Enjoy your week my friend♥️
Love the fifth shot, Linda. You can just see the concentration. :) She is a doll, that child. I had all three of mine gathered around today. We celebrated my youngest's 28 birthday ..out for breakfast at a gorgeous restaurant along the Mississippi. Food was amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing your pretty house all lit up and decorated. That's a good son you have. Apple pie....oh my goodness!
ReplyDeleteYay! A party! Nothing netter♥️
DeleteHe did a great job.....always does.....love him!
That is a very tall tower for someone so little. Usually a child will build blocks according to age. At 2 a 2 block tower. 3 a 3 block tower etc. Most kids can do more but she is doing a LOT more!
ReplyDeleteReally? I did not know that.....thanks!
DeleteLove the face on third photo . . . . lol
ReplyDeleteSome tower ~ looks very rickety ~ impressive skyscraper on shot 7 ~ Peter would just LOVE to knock it down . . . . lol
Hi Eddie....
DeleteHope you had a great weekend.....
I am sure that would delight Peter♥️
How you doing?
I'm doing good thanks, Linda.
DeleteOh boy ~ I love that header but shall not be going in for a paddle . . . . .haha
Ha! Brrrrrr.....
DeleteWhat a cutie your granddaughter is. So sweet <3 It's a blah weekend here, too. Where is the sun? We could use a little bit of that.
ReplyDeleteHi Martha!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.....she is a delight♥️
And....this weather sucks......
My boys had block puzzles like that...they were so fun!
ReplyDeleteSpaghetti sounds really good. Italian food always sounds good to me after several days of Thanksgiving fare. We're having turkey soup tomorrow and then I think spaghetti sounds like a great thing to put on the menu!
I have strings of lights on my shopping list. Where they go or why they don't work is always a mystery!
Yes....my kids had one...it was in a plastic case...perfect for the car...
DeleteHa! Crazy lights!
Aww I love her .Miss V is cute really cute:)
ReplyDeleteI love all the pics and what lovely sweater:))
Love this pink!

Hi Kris!
DeleteLoved your new quilt.....so talented!
Cute pics! That tower looked like it would topple at any moment but she managed to keep it together. Good work, Miss V. Hope you have a great week ahead. Can't believe it's December. Oh... love the new banner!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! She howled when it fell! She built it like 10 times! Great investment!
DeleteThanks about the header....that is from a few years ago at the cottage....love it!
Linda - first off - I love the photo of the lake! I've had the best time with kids, scotch tape, boxes, paper - they build all kinds of things. I've always loved blocks and wooden puzzles. Happy Monday!

Miss V is so cute building her block tower. They are cute blocks. I hope you got your lights up. We do one tree out front and it's not done yet. It's +9 today - perfect for it. Maybe I'll get on that right now while I think of it. Ha! Going to be -9 tomorrow. Our snow is almost all gone. Crazy weather eh?
ReplyDeleteHI Pam....get crackin' on those lights!!
