Colours In My Garden At Home.......

limelight hydrangea

Impatience

Weed tree

Perennial Mums

Perennial Bamboo

Vine Geraniums

Bamboo and White Pine

Sunday past was a great day for a short garden tour...

I found plenty of colour...

From Golden Yellows...

To Crispy Reds...

Even some Perfect Pink...

I have 2 Ferns still in mint condition, but nowhere to put them inside...

Still a few Geraniums to bring in...

And a few Hens & Chicks...

And of course some Waxy Begonias...

The perennial Bamboo puts on a glorious Fall show...

Need to cut that down...

To be perfectly honest with all of you...

I have done NO winter garden preparations yet here at home...

Nothing...

Nada...

Zilch...

Zero...

It has been rather soggy...and I do not like trying to rake up wet plants...

If I get one Sunny day...{I know, I just had one on this day...hahaha!}

BUT... that was Sunday...and the kids were coming over...

Face it...I need to be in a pinch...down to the wire...last ditch chance...

And then....everything gets done rather nicely and efficiently...

I am sure there will be a day next week, where I can get to work...

Don't mind if it is cold and sunny...

Just not SOGGY!!

And be darn sure....I will chronicle every last movement!!!!

To share with you lovely people....hahaha!    tee hee hee      *giggle*

The sky on Sunday

Miscanthus Plumes

Boston Ivy

Fern from cottage that I bought in June

Geraniums and Pumpkins

Waxy White Begonias

Hope you are all having a great day...

Started out sunny here...now it is gloomy, dark and windy...

Hope to get outside after Miss V wakes from her nap...

                            I feel a bike ride coming ♥️

Going to try a new recipe that I found on that hideous place PINTEREST !!!

***Skillet Pork Medallions in Mushroom Marsala Sauce***

                            Seems pretty straighforward...wish me luck!!

                                   What's cookin' in your kitchen??

Hope you enjoy the rest of your day...

                                     Cheers!  :o)

  3. the day started out lovely and sunny here and we went to Presqu'il Park for their annual craft show ... walked the beach, saw rock stacking and thought of you, visited the lighthouse, had delicious rum cake (highlight of craft show) but this afternoon is chilly, windy and cloudy ... hoping your sunny and dry day comes before more rain and other stuff that falls from the sky

  6. Just looked at the little fashionista's outfit in yesterday's blog, very adorable! Miss V. is so lucky to spend such quality time with you and the BF. And I love today's colourful flower photos! My BF and I saw a play this afternoon, I'm always up for live theatre. Your dinner sounds challenging but it'll probably be very delicious. Ours is poached salmon, roasted beets and pepper squash. Take care, LK. :)

  10. A lovely tour, Linda. It's nice that there are still some flowers blooming, and some colour around. I hope it last for quite awhile! The weather is insane these days. One minute it's sunny and warm, the next it's cloudy and cool...all in the span of an hour!

  16. We have lots to do here, too, Linda. My little garden under the apple tree is still in full bloom. Crazy! We will be cleaning leaves up 'til we leave, I'm sure. Your photos are lovely, as usual. Love the colours. We haven't seen any snow yet, touch wood (just bonked Joe's head haha!) and it is nice and dry today. We will head out to the property (50 minutes from here) tomorrow for a look at what has been done lately. Starting to worry about the weather but not dwelling on it. We can move in stages. Have a great day, Linda. Hugs
