Cinnamon Apple Tea...Cake & Berries ♥️

My SIL dropped in last week...

For a chat and a catch up...

I delighted her with a hot cup of Cinnamon Apple Tea...

And a slice of Blueberry Buttermilk Breakfast Cake...

With assorted fresh berries...Raspberry, Blueberry, Strawberry...

And a big dollop of Vanilla Yogurt...or...Ogurt as Miss V calls it ♥️

It was nice to catch up...she has recently become a Great Grandma!!

Hope you are all enjoying your day...

Some sun...some cloud...finally some raking etc around the yard...

Potted up 4 more Geraniums...to join us inside...but...they will wait...

It is supposed to be in the teens tomorrow...with rain...

SO.....they can stay out one more night!!

Made some wicked chicken soup yesterday...

Having crispy tender chicken fingers tonight...

                           with roasted yams and carrots...

             Whats cookin' in your kitchen??

Hope you all had a great weekend...

enjoy the rest of your day...

                              Cheers!   :o)

  1. Love to see the bake. YUM.

In my fridge is cooling another apple pie, but this one is an Apple Crumble Bumble Pie. Working out the kinks of my new pastry crust formula. Can't wait to cut that baby open and see how it looks and tastes.

Have a great week. Boogie boogie.

PS: Hungarian pancakes for supper with eggs and good bacon.

  4. Yummy :) My geraniums seem to be doing okay inside, one of the fuchsia is sending out little shoots but the other 2 don't look so healthy right now ... plenty of time before I give up on them.

Just been in the mood, and didn't want to wait for Thanksgiving. BTW we did have a wonderful time with our friends and I think they really enjoyed their time at the Tree House Bed and Breakfast. 14. Your baking always sounds delicious to me! My geraniums are in their little greenhouse, but it has still been mild here. I like your autumn mugs in the background of the cake pictures - you know me, always looking at the china!! xx

    1. Wish I had a greenhouse, Amy!
I have geraniums in every spot available!
Will get them more organized soon....
I love those mugs....but.....I think they are nearly done....tiny cracks inside :o(
Oh well......have to look for some more!

    2. It is only a little plastic greenhouse! Not a real glass one. I hope that it will give enough protection as I don't have anywhere indoors that I can keep them. Hoping for a mild winter!! xx
