Last of the pumpkins...

Plenty of Native Mullion ready for next summer....

Winter shutters up on Sun Porch...

One of very many Lady Bugs...

Last of the summer Miscanthus....

Our Goose waiting for Winter....

Swan Planter...now put away safely for Winter...

Fall waves crashing on the rocks....

Captured this Moon last Thursday night....

End of the lovely Fountain Grass.....

Hope you all had a great day...

Spent it with Miss V...so I am a happy camper ♥️

A few flurries...gusty winds...cold!!

Looks like we will close the cottage tomorrow...

Supposed to be below zero in the evenings...so better safe than sorry...

Don't want the pipes to freeze...or the toilet to crack...been there, done that!

We will still go for drives every week...to check the old girl out...

Thank goodness we got the sleepover in on Remembrance Day ♥️

Got a big pot of that delicious beef, barley and veggie soup bubbling away...

I think that will make a perfect dinner on this frosty evening...

Hope you enjoy my bits & bobs...

I take so many pictures...hard to choose...but then...you all know...

All about that.......right?

Enjoy the rest of your day...

                          Cheers!  :o)

  3. Glad you got in the sleepover at the cottage (somehow I missed that post). Lovely collection of photos. It was chilly today, went for a drive to Kingston to pick up a yarn bowl I'm getting as a gift for daughter, went shopping at the Catarequi Mall ... just the same but different layout as our mall .. had lunch at Denny's ... then there were snow flurries when we got home ... yuck, yuck, yuck Off to eat Corrie ... Rob got arrested, now we will have to put up with Tracy ... yuck, yuck, yuck

  7. Great shots, Linda! I don't know what's up with the Lady Bugs there are still so many flying about around here too. Although, the geese I do believe are heading south, lol...Just peered out the window to see giant snow flakes coming down "as we speak." Ah, yes, counting the days and filling up on beef and barley soup sounds like the norm... Thanks for sharing, Linda...

  11. I like that native mullion - very cool. Wonderful photos of everything preparing for winter. I thought with the addition of the furnace you would be staying there occasionally in the winter, but I guess not? Chilly today - such a contrast from a couple days ago. Ah well. It is mid-November.

  12. Ah, so the cottage goes to sleep during the winter months, Linda. So sad but sweet also. Your photos are always so gorgeous, and I adore the goose and swan. I am glad you had another sleepover this week, before the snow comes. My daughter has already had snow near Ottawa.
    Happy weekend!

We call hens and chicks 'homeguardians' here, probably because they cure so many skin problems and other health issues, from infected ears to warts :)

  18. Hi Linda - stopping by late today - but so worth it. Your blog is sight for sore eyes - and good ones too. I love the way you "stage" each photo - so carefully, and with a freshness that takes me away! I can smell the fresh, crisp air around that birch tree.I feel the warmth of the candle in the last of the pumpkins. I want to sit by that goose on the bench. I want to climb on the rocks with the ladybug. Wow!!! Thank you!
I would also thank you for visiting my blog homes. You are appreciated!
