One Days Drive ....To And From

As you all know....we usually try and visit the cottage once a week once it is put to sleep for the Winter...The drives to and from are pretty scenic and spectacular...I take pictures from the car as we drive along...Some come out pretty well....others, not so much!
Thought I would share a few from the last few weeks...
The countryside can be very beautiful...
Enjoy!

This last one shows the Toronto skyline...see the CN Tower?
This is coming down the Niagara escarpment into Grimsby...
Beautiful!!

Hope you are all having a great day...

Still windy here...no sun...only 3*c...chilly and damp...

Enjoy the rest of your day...

Cheers!  :o)

  2. Lovely scenic drive, great photos. I'm always taking photos from the vehicle too. Windy (but not as bad as yesterday) and cloudy and chilly.

  5. Love the wonderful photos! I've longed (and promised myself) that I was going to take some scenic drives and take pictures, but it just hasn't happened yet! And I'm usually doing all the driving, so it makes it difficult at best. But one day... maybe so. It's still very much a dream.

  7. Wonderful photos. It's nice to see parts of the drive to and from. Is that an old fishing boat in a field in the first photo? Is it near the water? It was partly sunny and 14 here today. A lovely day and calm before the storm. Big snow coming tomorrow night. yippee.

  8. Love the blue house with the silo. Gorgeous shot. The CN tower makes me home-sick for Toronto. I lived there from 1975 - 1980. It was a fun city at that time in my life. Still windy here, too but not so cold. Have a good evening, Linda. Deb

  9. Gosh, two days of your awesome photos to catch up with. Glad there's a photo of your feet in warmer footwear, ha, ha. Love the skyline/CN Tower one. I actually was close to downtown Toronto this afternoon at a ladies lunch with some old friends. Fun except for the howling winds in the friend's condo on the 17th floor! Take care and have a good rest of the week....
