A Very Chilly & Orange Friday At The Cottage.....

The Miscanthus is very Orange this Fall

Milkweed nearly done

See the streamers across the Lake

A few bursts of sunshine

Hope you are all having a great day...

We drove to the cottage on Friday...chilly...North wind...few flurries

I thought these pictures of the sky were quite beautiful...

Looks like snow clouds rolling in as we were leaving...

Had Miss V yesterday and today...had a ball...she is hilarious♥️

Have some veggie spaghetti sauce bubbling away...

Add some crusty bread...and there is dinner...( made a visit to the store to get that!)

What were you up to this weekend?

The weather was crappy yesterday...and limited sun and gusty today...

Looks like the end of the week will be in tiny single digits!!  :o(

Enjoy the rest of your day...

                                 Cheers!  :o)

  1. Beautiful photos Linda but it does look cold. I especially love the sunshine shots. It is very dull, cold and damp here. No sun. It must be sad to be closing down the cottage for another year. Will you be heading to Florida this winter? That will take the sting out of it. haha! Glad you had fun with Miss V. Grandkids really do make us laugh. I find our Bradley incredibly funny. Have a great evening. Dinner sound good...my kind of meal. Hugs

  3. HI Linda, I love the colours in these photos. The golden/orange of the ground plantings with the dark clouds are quite lovely together. We had a nice day today at +8 and no wind and even a bit of sun. The first half of the week looks good but the last half looks very cold. I hope you have a good week ahead.

  8. The grey and cloudy skies make for lovely photos. Yes, much chillier now, lots of drippy rain later today. Had a great visit with grandkids and family, I've been working at changing my site around bit by bit ... finished a pair of fingerless mitte out of lovely soft alpaca yarn .. finished up some little sewing projects .. just watched The Paradise, now getting ready to finish the day and start all over again tomorrow.
